Toothfairy
My take on the classic fae: a toothfairy.
Shaped like the thing it eats, the toothfairy makes your teeth fuzzy and rotten. When a tooth falls out, they give thanks by leaving behind some coin.

Bonefairy
A cousin to the toothfairy, the bonefairy paralizes their victims with its venom and then removes bones it deems "non essential" to their victims.

The Fool
Inspired by germany's carnevals i came up with a design of my own. It takes classical aspects and twists them slightly, like the long, donkey like ears and the "marotte" on his head that a fool usually carries around on a stick.
Here the fool almost appears to wear the skin of something else entirely...

Keschter
Keschter was inspired by a well known Childhood activity: Making little Chestnut figures from fallen Chestnuts. As "Tales of Delirium" takles themes of abandonment i need a fairy that was unable to funtion, due to being rejected for so long and thus Keschter was born.

The Journey Home
On his Journey across the land of Amygdala the Jester would encounter plenty of new friends and curios faces. They eventually make their way back to the castle of the queen as port of a story of "Tales of Delirium".

Canker Blossoms
A midsummernights dream is a great inspiration of mine. The fae, the dubios love stories of humans, it all mixes very well. Thus i soon started creating a few illustrations inspired by some of the lines spoken by Fairy Queen Titania.

Another Illustration inspired by the Midsummernights dream, focusing on the line: "Some war with rere-mice for their leathern wings..."
His pride and joy
This is an illustration i did especially for a playmat. It depicts a cute scene of an erlking admiring its offspring with other fae watching the two with a mix of curiosity and unease.

Their hatred runs deep
This illustration depicts the Erlking and the fairy queen. Inspired by the rather spiteful depiction in a midsummernights dream of fae royalty these two don't like each other either.
The fairy queen is the only active hunter pursuing erlkings and the only thing the erlking truly fears.

Sirius Protomaschine concept
This is a concept developed through some inspiration from the Videogame No mans sky. It depicts an early version of the species known as korvax which are robots. Since its implied they used to be organic once, i got to work to show what that may have looked like.

Adebar, the janus - faced stork
Adebar is a character i designed for the world of "Tales of delirium". He brings babies to famillies who want children but usuall can't have any, bringing them great joy. His "condition" makes that a little tough and not all kids make it to their new parents in one piece...

Apophis Jormungandr
Apophis is a linguist and mage. he dabbles in word magic, making his words into reality. Often he is frustrated with peoples frugal use of hate-filled words but he has learned to deal with it...in his own way that is.

A ghastly yet strangely wholesome meal
The large lunguistic serpent also has a softer side as seen here in an Illustration from "tales of Delirium". He may eat many of his guests, but this one is not one of them.

The solution
This is an early concept of what was once known as "Designoid", a game focused about restoring hope.
It depicts the protagonist Neutrino finding the solution to the erlkings pain. It rests within his heart.

A long time ago
This is a fan illustration for the game "light no fire". It depicts a set of beloved characters from its sister game "no mans sky" with somebody discovering them as they light a flame. Their bodies are long decayed but it seems from their loving embrace, they had each other til the very end.
